Fav tea spot! Although there can be a long line sometimes, you can place an order on the kiosk and they'll text you. So, I'll usually place an order and then I'll walk around or have lunch. Then, I'll pick it up.

TP Tea never disappoints! I haven't had it in a couple years so I was looking forward to this visit. There were a couple patrons waiting for their drinks and two self service machines to put in your order. I got the Tie Guan Yin Cheese Cream Foam with boba. I thought they would have the small boba at this location since the Cupertino one used to have it, but it wasn't an option here. The workers were pretty busy making a bunch of to-go/pick up drinks. My drink was very tasty. The tea itself was strong and the cheese cream foam was nicely salty yet sweet. The boba wasn't anything special, but was chewy and well cooked. Portion size felt more than enough. I will be back to try their other drinks!

Currently my favorite boba place in the Bay! All aspects of the drinks are perfect. Get 75% sweetness. My fav will have to be a toss up between mango milk tea and the tie guan yin latte. Their boba is the best I've had! Great portion and texture. It brings you back to the classic boba experience.

Small boba shop, no seating are an inside. Order form the kiosk , decent wait time. I got boba milk tea, and the milk tea tastes good but boba is a bit hard , not so chewy.

This place is always packed and for good reason! Their tea is very good and strong. My friends claim that the TP Tea in Cupertino is better but to me they kinda taste the same so I'll happily get TP Tea when I'm here. I like the Tieguanyin with boba, 0-30% sugar. The drink is very silky which I like. I think 0% sugar is my usual but I will do the next tier up sometimes. Boba is usually pretty chewy. If I want less caffeine I usually go for like a jasmine green tea instead.

tp tea is my all time favorite boba spot and i was happy to visit the san mateo location for the first time. the consistency varies a bit, with the boba texture and sugar level, but overall tp tea has the strongest tea with still being creamy. i usually get the boba milk tea (black milk tea) or tie guan yin (earthy oolong) with 50% sweet because the tea is stronger. this location tasted sweeter than usual and the boba was a bit hard hence why i docked a star. overall though, 100% recommend tp tea for their pearl milk teas.

This location is more of a grab-and-go type of place. Barely any seating. The drinks didn't take too long to come out. This place is modern and clean as well. You can order through the kiosk. The tea here is very good quality. I feel like every drink I have ordered has been delicious. My favorite so far is the strawberry milk tea which is more like a slushy. Very good for a hot day. It tasted like they used real strawberries too instead of the artificial syrup. Compared to other milk tea places, their drinks aren't as sweet so you can definitely have order your drinks with regular sweetness.

TP TEA IM YOUR BIGGEST FANNNNNNNNNNNNN :') If you need a pick me up or need to pull an all nighter, get the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea. I always order through the SnackPass app and it has saved me so much time. Service is always great! This is the only thing I get and it's never failed to keep me awake. I'm gonna need to buy a personal fridge at work and start stocking up bc your girl is always dozing off. AHAHAHHAA LIKE HOW IS THIS DRINK CONSISTENTLY GOOD. TP TEA.. pls give me the recipe!!!! D':

Heard so much hype from this place, I got so excited to try!! I came on a Friday afternoon, no line or anything, you can also preorder online. There's a small waiting area that can get packed at times but the wait time is fast, especially when they play good music. Definitely is my new go-to spot when I'm in San Mateo! My order: Tieguanyin Black Milk Tea with QQ noodles, boba, and grass jelly - This was one of the best milk teas I've had in a while, just the tea itself is so good. The qq noodles were a surprisingly chewy and tasty new addition (it came with the order). The grass jelly was solid, and their boba was very good.
